Course Name: International Criminal Trial

　　Judge Liu Daqun, Vice President of the Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, will give a lecture at the Institute of Evidence Science of China University of Political Science and Law from May 20 to June 6, 2021, at the invitation of the Collaborative Innovation Center for Judicial Civilization of the National "2011 Plan", the "111 Plan" and the Institute of Evidence Science of China University of Political Science and Law. Judge Liu Daqun, Vice President of the ICTY, gave a lecture on "International Criminal Law" at the Institute of Evidence Science of China University of Political Science and Law from May 20 to June 6, 2021 for the students of China University of Political Science and Law. Judge Liu is the Vice-President of the ICTY and prior to his election to the ICTY, he held important positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. He was China's Ambassador to Jamaica and China's Permanent Representative to the International Seabed Authority. Judge Liu participated in the negotiations of the Rome Statute as deputy head of the Chinese delegation and chief negotiator. He enjoys a high international reputation.
