The 4th National Doctoral and Postdoctoral Academic Forum on Evidence Science  was successfully held at Southwest University of Political Science and Law from November 2nd to 3rd, 2024. This meeting was sponsored by the Key Laboratory of Evidence Science of the Ministry of Education (the Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science at the CUPL), the "2011 Project", and the School of Criminal Investigation at Southwest University of Political Science and Law. More than 30 doctoral students and postdoctoral students from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law made thematic reports, and 17 experts and scholars commented on the papers. A total of more than 80 people attended the forum.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Hu Ergui of Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Professor Wang Xu of China University of Political Science and Law delivered opening speeches respectively. The two-day forum focused on the basic theory of evidence law, judicial proof, court science, criminal procedure and evidence, big data and artificial intelligence evidence, and civil and administrative questions. After the end of the keynote speech, the evaluation experts and the speakers had an in-depth discussion and detailed comments.

During the closing session of the forum, Professor Liang Kun, Professor Zhang Zhong and Professor Zhang Cuiling issued certificates of honor to the award-winning authors. Subsequently, Professor Zhang Cuiling of Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Professor Zhang Zhong of China University of Political Science and Law made concluding remarks.

The 4th National Doctoral and Postdoctoral Forum on Evidence Science has come to a successful conclusion.
