On the morning of July 22, 2024, the signing ceremony of the forensic science discipline in cooperation between our university and Fudan University was held in Haidian campus.

Ma Huaide introduced the course of running a school, discipline construction, personnel training, scientific research and social service, and focused on the basic situation of the Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science at the CUPL. He hoped that the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation on scientific research, personnel training, judicial expertise, and capacity verification of forensic science-related disciplines, so as to contribute to the development of the rule of law and science and technology in the country.

The two sides signed a cooperation agreement at the ceremony. Subsequently, the two sides conducted exchanges and discussions on scientific research, personnel training, social services, and international cooperation, aiming at the joint construction of forensic science disciplines.

Hu Ming pointed out that the smooth signing of the agreement marked a solid step forward in the cooperation between the two schools in the field of forensic science. He stressed that the school will strengthen strategic cooperation and conscientiously implement the relevant contents of the strategic cooperation agreement with this signing as the starting point, so as to jointly inject new vitality and momentum into the discipline construction of national forensic science.

Jin Li introduced the talent team and development goals of the Institute of Forensic Science of Fudan University. He said that Fudan University has promoted forensic science to a level of institutionalized, independent and professional research. In the future, it is hoped that the two schools will comprehensively promote scientific research, discipline construction and personnel training, and achieve win-win development.
