On May 20, 2023, on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the founding of China University of Political Science and Law and the 17th anniversary of the celebration of the Institute of Evidence Science, a seminar on the theory and methods of evidence analysis and the launch meeting of the "Guidelines for the Analysis of Evidence in Serious Crimes Prosecutors" was held at the Haidian campus. More than 150 experts and scholars from procuratorates, universities and other institutions attended the seminar.
The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Wang Xu, Dean of the Evidence Science Research Institute of China University of Political Science and Law. The four guests congratulated the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Evidence Science Research Institute and warmly welcomed and thanked the scholars and guests who attended this conference. At the same time, they clarified the significant significance of establishing a serious crime prosecution evidence analysis base and writing the "Guidelines for Serious Crime Prosecution Evidence Analysis".
This meeting focuses on the analysis of general attributes of evidence, practical evidence analysis, reasoning analysis, and review analysis. It includes both theoretical research on evidence analysis and summary of experience in evidence review.
The closing ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Zhang Baosheng. Zhang Baosheng gave a concluding speech on this meeting, briefly commenting on the content of the speech and making suggestions for the next step of drafting the "Guidelines for the Analysis of Evidence in Serious Crimes Prosecutors".
