The Opening Ceremony for the Overseas Partner Research Institution of Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization, "Academy of Comparative Studies on SINO-U.S. Evidence Law", Was Held in University of California, Davis

On Jan. 25th, 2016, the opening ceremony for Academy of Comparative Studies on SINO-U.S. Evidence Law, one overseas partner research institution of Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization, was held in University of California Davis School of Law. The CICJC delegation to U.S. includes Professor Baosheng Zhang, who is the co-chair of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization, Professor Zhong Zhang and Professor Jinxi Wang, both of whom are Associate Dean of the Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science, and Associate Professor Zhuhao Wang.

The Associate Dean of the UC Davis School of Law, Professor Beth Greenwood hosted the opening ceremony, and Professor Madhavi Sunder, the Associate Dean of the UC Davis School of Law, did the unveiling together with Professor Baosheng Zhang. Professor Madhavi Sunder warmly welcomed the CUPL delegations, spoke highly of the long-term cooperative relationships between CUPL and UC Davis, and also showed their high expectation for the Academy of Comparative Studies on SINO-U.S. Evidence Law, During the speech, Professor Baosheng Zhang introduced the missions, functions,   international communication and cooperation situations of the “2011 Plan”-Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization. Besides, he said that the establishment of the Academy of Comparative Studies on SINO-U.S. Evidence Law  will surely strengthen the indepth cooperation between CUPL and our American colleagues in fields like evidence law.

Representatives of the UC Davis School of Law teachers and students, Chinese visiting scholars also attended the opening ceremony.
