At the beginning of 2017, it was the first time that, the International Journal of Evidence & Proof (hereinafter “EPJ”) (Volume 21, Issue 1-2, 2017) concurrently published 6 articles by Chinese scholars as independent author or first co-author. In the same volume, EPJ also published papers written by Prof. Ronald J. Allen from Northwestern University Law School (also the President of International Association of Evidence Science), Associate Prof. Alex Biedermann and Prof. Christophe Champod from University of Lausanne (Switzerland), Mr. David Caruso from University of Adelaide (Australia) and other members of the “2011 Plan” of the PRC national government – Collaborative Innovation Center of Judicial Civilization (“CICJC”) and the “111 Plan” of the PRC national government – Base for Evidence Science Innovation and Talent Recruitment (“BESITR”) . After two rounds of double blinded peer review process, the 11 papers mentioned above were selected to publish from more than 80 papers in the 2015 5th International Conference on Evidence Law and Forensic Science(“ICELFS”), which have attracted attention from national and international scholars, and received positive feedback from peers.
