2025 Evidence Science Spring Forum Lecture Series Successfully Held

From June 10 to 12, 2025, the "2025 Evidence Science Spring Forum" lecture series was successfully convened. The series was jointly organized by the Collaborative Innovation Center for Civilizational Evolution and Legal Development, the Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science, and the Key Laboratory of Evidence Science, Ministry of Education.

The first lecture, themed on "The Application of Video and Image Technology in Investigation," dissected several core technologies using case studies, illustrating the leapfrog development of video-based investigation from traditional tracking to intelligent analysis. The second lecture featured an expert from iFLYTEK, who shared the latest achievements in legal large language models (LLMs). The presentation covered the development history, core principles, and technological progress of LLMs, showcasing their applications in judicial scenarios. The expert emphasized that the primary role of these large models is that of a "decision-making assistant," not a "fact adjudicator." The session also sparked lively discussions on issues such as multilingual recognition and the accuracy of court judgment documents.

These two lectures broadened the academic horizons of the attending faculty and students, stimulating their research interest in the interdisciplinary field of "technology + law."
